Shiraz - Landskroon 2005/6 – Paarl - A medium to full bodied wine with subtle toast and cinnamon oak overlays. Smoky and sweet berry fruit flavours, complimented by subdued oakiness.
Haskell Dombeya Boulder Road 2005 – Stellenbosch - Spiciness and sweet cherry flavours. A soft smooth entry with dark chocolate, vanilla and sweet black fruit concentrate, with a lingering spicy after taste.
Zandvliet 2005 – Robertson - Aromas of ripe plums, violets and minerals. Flavours of plums, spice and meaty.
Saxenburg Private Collection 2004 – Stellenbosch - Warm spicy flavours with hints of coffee strikes a fine balance between fruit and tannins. A silky structure, with an ultra long finish.
Raka Biography 05/06 – Klein River - Aromas of maple syrup and meat spices. The palate is a well combined mixture of spiciness, up-front fruit and flavours of papaya.
Pinot Noir- Haute Cabriére 2005/6 – Franschhoek - Dark berries backed by perfectly integrated tannins. On the nose you will discover aromas of raspberries, cherries, ground black pepper.
Hamilton Russell 2006/7 – Hemel-en-Aarde - Not overtly fruity, soft and “sweet”. It shows hints of that alluring “primal” character along with a dark, spicy, complex primary fruit perfume.
Pinotage - Seidelberg Roland’s Reserve 2005/6 – Paarl - Fresh cherries and cinnamon nose. Palate of blackcurrants and dark chocolate with a lingering oak finish.
Hidden Valley 05/06 – Stellenbosch - Full blooded with warming spice and meaty tones. Rich layers encased in savoury tannins.
Meerendal 1996 – Durbanville - Intense plum and chocolate nose, with cherry, tobacco and cedar wood. A full palate with exceptionally long after taste.
Kanonkop 2006 – Stellenbosch - Interesting earth nuances with hints of pepper vanilla and banana. Cherry and red plum fruit flavours, with a core of red fruit and a long finish.
